At the bottom of the Shantyløypa trail, we are, as always, building a solid swimming pool.

The goal? To get through dry.

Easy? Not quite!

How it works:

We start with good speed and long inlets. Round by round, the starting point is moved closer to the pool. The speed gets slower. The pressure gets higher. The crowd gets denser. In the end, you barely have any snow under your skis – and yet you are going across the icy water.

It's all about timing, technique, balance... and a good dose of madness.

All means of transportation are allowed – skis, snowboards, telemark skiing, home-made solutions – but inflatable boats and floatation mattresses must stay at home.

Registration takes place in the store until 1:00 PM the same day.

Categories and prizes:

Last Man Standing

Whoever manages to cross the pool with the least possible speed wins. If there is a dead heat, it will be decided backwards/switch. Nerves of steel are required.

Best Costume

There are no limits here. The jury will choose the coolest, funniest or most creative outfit.

Best splash

We will award the most spectacular try-out – either on the way out or in the middle of the ice bath.

Who can participate?

You should be able to swim and over 110 cm tall. Do you prefer atmosphere to ice baths? Take a seat in the sun and cheer on the participants – this is as fun to watch as it is to participate!

When the last participant is wet and done, the party continues!

There will be après ski at Arontunet. Live music with Chris Edgar from 4:00 PM, and DJ Andrea will be spinning from 6:00 PM. Age limit 18 years.
